What's in a Name?

Ok, everyone, I'm apologizing because I don't know where to find or how to post the vote tracker, so I'm just going to make you leave a comment with your opinion. Do I give Salem a middle name or not? And if you think I should, what should it be? My sweet grandma Roylance's name is Colleen Annie and my middle name is after her, its Ann. So, what I'm thinking is naming our sweet baby girl either Salem Kol (short for Colleen) or Salem Annie. Do either of those spark anything for any of you? I'm kinda leaning more toward Salem Kol myself, but I can't decide. I know lots of people don't give girls middle names because they are lost when you get married. But, I think I still want to give her one. What is your opinion? Let me know.

News

The best news that I can post, since we haven't told too many people, is that we are having another baby! Yay! We are super excited! I've only got 9 weeks left! And its A GIRL! I can hardly wait! She is due to be here December 7th, because I love to have babies right before Christmas, I guess :-) We are going to name her Salem. She already looks so much like her older brother, but a girly version, of coarse. This Christmas will be so wonderful! I couldn't ask for better presents then my babies!

Punkinaze Field Trip!

The Appleseed's had a field trip today and since I finally decided to update our blog, I thought I better add these cute pictures. They went to the Punkinaze and had so much fun! Sawyer loved playing the games and especially going down the slide. He thought it was so funny going down on his tummy. He would run around and around to go again. Thanks Teacher Misty!

PRE-SCHOOL!

I can't believe that Sawyer is old enough for pre-school, but he has been doing for a month now and loves every minute of it. These pictures are from his first day. I could not get one without his eyes closed at our house, so there you go :-) He goes to Appleseed Academy just down the street from out house. Teacher Misty does such an awesome job! He has really liked meeting new friends.

Swimming Lessons

In July, Sawyer had swimming lessons. He loves it! It was his 3rd year having them at The Peak, in Brigham City. He does awesome! I'm such a chicken in the water, that I want my kids to not be so scared and he is definitely a little fish. They do a great job with the small kids and he learned alot this summer.

The Zoo

This is a picture of one of Sawyer's Hero Factory guys. I know I've mentioned them in the past and most people probably have no idea what in the heck they are. Kinda wicked looking dudes, that love to battle. (says my son).
I love the zoo and like to go at least once a year, so we headed down there with my Brother Kyle and his family and my parents. It was a great day and the new polar bear exhibit that they have is awesome!

Disney on Ice

I've been so terrible about posting. We went to Disney on Ice forever ago and it was so fun! We had such a great time! Sawyer got an alien hat and a Buzz Lightyear mug and I'm pretty sure he only ate cotton candy for dinner that night :-) Nothing better.
He also had his cousins, Gage and Parker over for a sleepover. They are so funny all together! They watched a movie and had popcorn before bed and then in the morning, I think they played Hero Factory (legos) for hours. He loved having them over!

Farr Cousins

Hello! It has been months since I've posted anything, I have so many pictures to post, so just to give everyone a head's up, there are lots of pictures on this post.

These super cute cousin pictures are actually from last summer 2011, but I barely got around to loading them onto my computer, so I'm going to post them, because they are so cute. They are all alot younger in these pictures, but they had so much fun having Brittany take them when her and the kids were here visiting.

OUR 3 YEAR OLD SAWYER

Sawyer is so much fun!
And looks more and more like Jeremy every day.
Every one told us that the 2's were terrible, but he has definitely learned how to throw a tantrum since he's turned 3.
He isn't my baby any more, even though I still call him that. He's very independent.
He can still be a mommy's boy, but has really found out that
Dad is awesome and they can do man things together.
He loves to explore and he's very curious and asks lots of questions.
Right now, he especially likes building and taking things apart. Specifically legos of any sort.
He had his 3 year old check up and did great.
Weight: 34lbs-75%, no more baby chub here, so sad!
Height: 38inch-70% He is definitely Jeremy's son. All torso with short legs
We got him signed up for pre-school in the fall, which might be the hardest day for me!
He is still pretty calm and sweet with the occasional loud Farr outburst :-)
He is still pretty cuddly when he wants to be & tells us he misses us all the time.
He is all boy!
He loves to fight and have battles.
His favorite things are: Transformers, Spongebob,
Hero Factory Legos and then some more Transformers.
This boy is obsessed!!!
I'm not sure how it started, but he loves all the Transformers movies, cartoons,
action figures, everything. He would build them all day.
Taking them apart and putting new ones back together. He loves it!
He still loves Harry Potter, but other things are starting to take place of a wand.
He'll eat almost all food.
His favorites foods: chips, eggs & bacon, cereal, graham crackers, oranges, nuggets,
pears, chocolate milk, apple juice, toast
and noodles. He loves noodles, any kind, any shape, from anywhere.
But he is a typical kid and some days I wonder if he had anything to eat besides candy.
He loves Jeremy and is so sad when he goes to work and loves it when he comes home.
He sleeps from 9-7 (typically). And some days takes a nap, some days not.

Disneyland & Christmas

This year we went to California for Sawyer's birthday, Christmas & just a get away. It was so fun! Soy didn't even know what to do with himself; so much to do & try! So many rides and things to look at. We had so much fun! Plus, then got to come home & have Christmas with family. It was such a great holiday season!

Our little transformer. Sawyer has really gotten into transformers lately. I got this Bumblebee mask just for a little, not wrapped stocking present & it was probably his favorite thing. He barely took it off for a week!

Riding the Disneyland train to rest our legs
Pluto was probably Sawyer's favorite. So cute!

Toon town was so fun! There was so much to play on & do that was totally geared toward his age. It was perfect! We had to drag him out of there.

He took Mickey's nose :-)

My boys with Buzz Lightyear
Every day when we would leave, Sawyer would pass out in the stroller as we were walking out. We thought this a funny picture by the Disneyland sign & he's out :-)

The beautiful Oceanside beach. There were surfers out on these waves. You can't tell, but they were HUGE waves! I love the ocean, I don't love to get in it, but I love the smell & playing on the beach. I think we might move to San Diego!
Sawyer kept licking the sand off his hands & telling me it was salty. Yummy!

Sea World
I think this was the best money we spent the whole trip. We went to Sea World on Sawyer's birthday & he wanted to have his face painted like a pirate. He was so stinking happy!

So cute! He loves Elmo!

Doing a Birthday boy dance in our condo before we went to Sea World

Blowing out candles on his Transformer birthday cake
My little chef
These are way out of order, but I wasn't sure if I put Halloween pictures on here or not, so it might be a double post. But, I couldn't help putting my little skeleton on here with his pet Gumby :-) Plus, Sawyer is still obsessed & talks about Halloween all the time.
My mom, me & Sawyer riding the little train in South Weber. So fun!
