Family Pictures

We got some family pictures taken when Brittany was here and we just got them back. They turned out so cute! Thought I would post a few on here for everyone to see. There sure are alot of cute babies this year! Crazy how much things can change in one year. I feel bad cuz my family wanted to do pictures when my brother Wes was here in December since he lives in China right now. But, I was huge & then after Sawyer was born we didn't want to take him out till he was a bit older to get pictures taken. So, next time Wes is here, we've gotta have pictures for sure! Its nice to get ones of your families as they get bigger. Sorry Mom!! :-)

Hi everyone! Looks like I might be one of those people who update their blog once a month. Sorry! :-) We are doing great! Sawyer is growing & growing. I think he's trying to catch up with his daddy! He is almost 12 weeks now and the time has gone so fast. At his 9 week doctor appointment, he weighed 16 pounds 11 ounces and was 25 inches long. He is such a little tank! He smiles & chats with me all day. So fun! We blessed him on March 1st while Brittany was here and Jeremy also got to bless Jayvia. That was so neat! We had a really great day and Jeremy did an awesome job! It was so fun having all our friends and family there to share with us. I'm starting back to work this coming week-so wish me luck! :-) Only 2 days though, so it will probably just be nice to get out and have some adult conversation. We found out this week that Jeremy is moving to another gang with Union Pacific located in Portland and will be traveling 8 days and then home for 6 days. I think it will take some getting used to, but in the long run, will work out great. Having him home for that many days in a row will be nice. Here are some updated pictures of Sawyer!

Sawyer likes to sleep with his hands above his head just like his daddy :-)
Sawyer is getting so long!

He still has all his crazy, curly hair!

I love being a mommy!!
Ok, so I had to get help with my blog from my sister-in-law, Amy, and now I'm ready to go. Its a bit more complicated then I thought. Sawyer is getting so big and changing every day! We don't see the doctor again until Feb 20th, but we are figuring he weighs about 11 1/2-12 pounds now and is about 23-24 inch long. He is trying to smile and gives you the cutest open mouth smiles you have ever seen! :-) We are enjoying being parents so much! I'm really dreading going back to work, but I still got a few more weeks to be home with the little guy. I can't believe that 7 weeks have already gone by since he was born. Now I really know that time flies. I could not be happier being a mom; its the best job in the world!

Sawyer & Finally Blogging

Me and Sawyer's first picture together

This is Sawyer's "My first Christmas" T-shirt, but he was pretty upset about getting his picture taken, so you can't tell what his shirt says.

Hello everyone!! I'm sure that you will all be happy that I've finally started a blog. Sorry it has taken me so long! But, we had a major event in December and I've got something to blog about now! On December 20, 2008, we had our son Sawyer Gerald Farr. He weighed 9 pounds 15 ounces at birth and was 21 1/2 inches long. We could not be happier! He has brought so much joy and fun into our lives and we are the most proud parents! He is now almost 4 weeks old and I can hardly believe how fast the time goes! Although, nights are rough, he is so wonderful to have in our home! Jeremy is such a great dad and has the hardest time going to work. Luckily, he was able to be off for 2 weeks to help me with Sawyer. We have fun times during the day though, sleeping and playing. At Sawyer's first doctor appt at 2 weeks, he had grown to 10 pounds 6 ounces. So, happy to say, he is getting enough to eat :-) We had such a great Christmas and look forward to all the great things we have in store this year. I'll try to keep this blog updated and post lots of pictures of Sawyer. But, to start off with, here are some from his first few days and also some from home.
